This week on Talksicology we both celebrated Jason’s birthday and welcomed his partner, Gabi D, as our guest on the show!
Gabi is an early recovery sexual assault survivor, and opens up about her story with us. The conversation begins with Gabi recounting her private catholic school experience and growing up under high pressure expectations set forth by the administration. During this time she also expresses struggling with mental illness and an eating disorder. Shortly thereafter, her substance abuse chapter begins; overdosing 3 times before ever graduating high school.
