Raised in New Jersey within a Hispanic household originating from Honduras, she was no stranger to how excessive drinking can affect your life.

We delve into the cultural stigma surrounding substance abuse and the hesitation to seek treatment. Opening up about her own mental health journey, Aleshka shares the impact going through a divorce had on her life and the challenges of being a single mom. Aleshka’s goal is to break the stigma in the Hispanic community and let others know that resources are available. You don’t have to stay silent or struggle alone.
