Cinco No Drinko Mocktail Party

Recovery Unplugged Live Streams Cinco No Drinko Virtual Mocktail Party

Come celebrate with Recovery Unplugged at our Cinco No Drinko virtual mocktail party on May 5th from 7-8pm! Guests can join the party live on our LIVE on our Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter. We’re helping our alumni, friends and loved ones from all over the world celebrate a sober and social Cinco De Mayo even in the time social distancing.

We’ll be celebrating with famed Austin mixologist Chris Marshall,  who will helping us whip up some delicious and hangover-free mocktails to help attendees stay refreshed in recovery without the threat of relapse. Last year, Chris opened up Austin’s first alcohol-free bar, and has been helping the city party sober ever since. Members of our alumni and staff will be on hand mixing up their own booze-free creations. Try making your own recipes at home while you celebrate with us!

Your party hosts for the night will also be taking your live questions about recovery, and discussing a wide range of related issues, including partying sober in an often-drunk world and trying to stay connected to our support system in the time of mandated social isolation imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Whether or not you’re in recovery, Cinco De Mayo has become one of the most social nights of the year. It’s a time to get together with your friends, connect with each other, and relax in a festive atmosphere. This year, the inability to celebrate in person with the people we care about is hitting home as one more area of life that has been impacted coronavirus. Recovery Unplugged is restoring fun, festivity and familiarity to Cinco De Mayo and letting everyone who is struggling out there know they’re not alone.

The party starts promptly at 7pm, and our staff will be answering questions all night. We hope to see you there and look forward to connecting with our friends from around the globe. Cheers!
