Recovery Unplugged is pleased and proud to work with City of Angels, NJ, an independent, non-profit referral resource for those in New Jersey and surrounding communities who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. New Jersey has been one of the states hit hardest by the opioid epidemic, losing nearly 2,000 residents to opioid overdose in 2016, and City of Angels is doing their part to restore health, safety, dignity and peace of mind to residents of the state and beyond.
City of Angels started in 2009 and has since helped guide hundreds of people toward treatment, lasting sobriety and a better future. In a time when it can still be incredibly difficult to access quality addiction treatment, despite the skyrocketing demand, City of Angels, NJ is working to eliminate some of the logistical roadblocks that get in the way of recovery.
If someone you care about is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, it can be hard to enough to convince them to get help, much less navigate the administrative and logistical hurdles that are required to secure proper treatment. City of Angels helps facilitate the addiction care process through a wide range of services, including but not limited to:
• Interventions and referrals to treatment
• Scholarships for those without insurance
• Referrals to sober living
• Recovery Coach program
• Wellness resources
• NA, AA, Spirituality, Self-injury, Bullying and other support group meetings
City of Angels, NJ is committed to acting as an enduring support resource for anyone in need of care for their substance use disorder.
