Our Director of Outreach and Court Liaison for the East Coast, Sehar Ryan finds her true passion in the legal advocacy realm of the field, through her work with clients in aiding in all court-related matters, including but not limited to Marchman Act procedures, downward departures, alternate sentencing, custody assessments, and status reports. In addition, Sehar assists in all matters relating to treatment placement, community outreach, client advocacy and account maintenance. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University.
Sehar has been a strong member of the Recovery Unplugged family for over four years and brings with her several years of valuable experience from her own personal struggles. Furthermore, Sehar is an active board member of Women Empowering Women, a nonprofit organization which raises funds to provide collegiate scholarships to women in recovery. Sehar is committed to working diligently for families affected by substance use disorder and is an advocate for mental health in the court systems and communities nationwide. When she isn’t advocating and saving lives, Sehar enjoys traveling with her husband and their two children.
