"This is my temporary home, it's not where I belong. Windows in rooms that I'm passin' through, this was just a stop, on the way to where I'm going. I'm not afraid because I know this was my temporary home," - “Temporary Home,” Carrie Underwood
An Admissions Manager in our Admissions department, Erika Murphy helps our Admissions Coordinators by providing a second voice to clients and their families when confronting the difficult tricky situation that is addiction and substance abuse. She remains in contact with our medical team to provide them with the most current information on the client and to help figure out which methods of treatment would best help them succeed in the future. She also ensures that clients can get here as safely and quickly as possible to get the treatment they deserve. Erika has been in the substance abuse treatment field for over two years working as an Alumni Representative and Admissions Coordinator and draws heavily from her personal experiences with addiction to help identify with clients and their situations.
Erika is an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and has been clean for almost three years. She spends as much time with her three kids as she can and enjoys hanging out with her friends and fiancé. She loves going to concerts and is a big fan of music.
