Marykate DiBenedetto is a Primary Therapist with Recovery Unplugged working with clients in group and individual sessions working on goals and treatment plans specifically to each person’s specific needs. She encourages open communication of life experiences, emotions and thoughts. She has a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Montclair State University and has her master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Recovery Unplugged is where Marykate completed her clinical and hasn’t left since.
Marykate also has a passion for animals and volunteers at a dog rescue on her spare time and plays with her dog, Victor. She enjoys working out, going to the beach, spending quality time with her friends and family and loves traveling. She played lacrosse at MSU and was a teacher for six years prior to switching careers.
