Alcohol Treatment Fort Lauderdale

Alcohol Treatment Fort Lauderdale

When Is It Time for Alcohol Treatment?

Alcohol use disorder is an extremely common affliction in the U.S. because:

  • It is legal
  • It is widely available
  • It is socially acceptable

With all these factors, it can be challenging to figure out whether your casual drinking has turned into alcohol addiction, especially if everybody drinks regularly. It may be time for alcoholism treatment if you:

  • Have been binge drinking frequently or have more than seven drinks a week (women) or fourteen drinks a week (men)
  • Find yourself planning all social activities, so they include alcohol or bringing alcohol along with you to events.
  • Are you constantly thinking about when you can have your next drink
  • Have been drinking in the morning, drinking throughout the day, or drinking in secret just to get through the day
  • Experience withdrawal symptoms if you go without alcohol

If these signs and symptoms sound familiar to you, it may be a good idea to speak to somebody at an alcohol rehab treatment facility about your options.

Alcohol Detox Fort Lauderdale

Our medical detox programs are customized to best suit each patient’s needs, with medical treatment and medications as needed. You will live inside the detox center full-time as the alcohol leaves your body. Alcohol detox usually requires 24-hour care and supervision to ensure extreme distress, discomfort, and dangerous symptoms like seizures and delirium tremens do not occur. Our team will give you the support, therapy, counseling, and medical care you need to get through this uncomfortable but necessary part of the recovery process. We also provide medication-assisted treatments for people who need extra help in their drug detox or alcohol detox treatment plans, with long-term medication management services.

Inpatient Alcohol Rehab

Inpatient treatment for drug or alcohol addiction in the Recovery Unplugged rehab centers includes 24-hour security with music spaces, chef-prepared meals, laundry facilities, a game room, a fitness center, and state-of-the-art residences. An average inpatient rehab program will last for ten to ninety days, depending on your needs, after which most patients move into our outpatient levels of care.

The days inside the recovery center are structured and scheduled with treatments designed to enrich your life, revitalize your spirit, and help you regain your physical and mental health. Alcohol and drug abuse can take a toll, so we aim to heal your body, mind, and spirit through therapy, music, community, and care in our customized treatment programs.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab

We offer several levels of outpatient treatment for alcohol and drug rehab that some people will begin directly after detoxing, living at home or in a sober home, and commuting to an outpatient treatment center for care. Others will transfer into a partial hospitalization program (PHP) or intensive outpatient programs (IOP) after inpatient treatment for a more gradual transition back to day-to-day life.

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) is six hours of treatment daily, with full access to all treatments an inpatient program provides during the day. The PHP usually lasts 10 to 15 days. Our intensive outpatient programming (IOP) is two to three hours a day of treatment, generally lasting 10 to 30 days.

Outpatient rehab can also be customized after the partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs are complete, so you can stay connected to our sober community and all your doctors, therapists, and caregivers as you live your life in recovery.
